Palo Alto Babe Ruth - A baseball tradition for more than 50 years

The objective of the League is to prepare eligible amateur baseball players to compete at higher levels of competition by developing and improving their physical and mental baseball skills and promoting a better knowledge and understanding of as well as a respect for the game of baseball.

Palo Alto Babe Ruth organization is a premier baseball organization for players age 13-15 as of May 1, 2014. The league boundaries include Redwood City, Menlo Park, Atherton, Ladera, Portola Valley, Woodside, East Palo Alto and Palo Alto.

There is an Early Bird registration this year. If the registration is completed online by January 10, 2014, the fee will be $375. Registrations received after January 10, 2014 will be $425. This structure is for returning players and new, incoming players. The registration site for the 2014 Palo Alto Babe Ruth season is now open.

The registration site is designed to collect all pertinent information for player and parents. Click here for the registration website.

PABR asks all families to consider contributing to the 2014 Field and Equipment Improvement Fund. Contributions will be used to replace the field tractor and related field maintenance equipment, and to help cover the cost of other recent expenditures: mound and plate covers, the portable batting cage, and the upgraded PA system. Our 2014 goal is to raise $10,000.

The final step in the registration process is to complete the payment step using a credit card. The payment site is secured and no information is maintained on the website. All players, new and returning, must register and complete payment prior to the start of the respective season.

Please contact me with any questions regarding registration or the Palo Alto Babe Ruth season.

PABR Fall Ball season is beginning to take shape and the registration site will open on June 24th. All current 12 and 13 year olds are eligible to participate in the Fall Ball season. The season is instructional and intended to build on the skills learned this year in the 13 Prep league as well as giving the 12 year olds a first look at the big field and begin their learning about Babe Ruth baseball.

Don't be fooled by the name, Palo Alto Babe Ruth serves the cities of Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Woodside, Portola Valley, Ladera, Atherton and Redwood City. The Little Leagues in these cities feed directly into PABR and you are encouraged to register your son for Fall Ball as an introduction to the full size field and begin his learning from our coaching staff for the next level of organized baseball.

The Fall Ball Season will start with practices in mid August and the games will start after Labor Day and will run through Mid October. There will be 3 or 4 teams and each team will play 2 games a week during the season. There is no tryout or draft for Fall Ball and the teams will be formed in conjunction with the managers. Every attempt will be made to meet any special requests.

Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot predict practice days or game days. Please visit the link below on June 24th and complete your registration.
